Which topics would you like to be more informed about

Topics I wish I were more informed about are politics and just how people tick.

I’m in the US and over the last few years, I’ve noticed that our government doesn’t work how we’ve been told it works. In school, most things I’ve been taught in social studies and government class has been debunked by the current Trump administration. There are no checks and balances in place to prevent the President from making tyrannical laws, all he has to do is override it by bombarding the courts with so many Executive Orders within his “grace period” after getting elected, that the judicial system can’t proceed them fast enough before they’re enacted which could be weeks or months and by then, the damage has already been done.

Additionally, we’ve been told in school that there are laws in place to keep the President from breaking the law, however, our President has publicly broken some law every week since he took office, but hasn’t been arrested. Again, more proof our government doesn’t work how we think it works, so I think this country needs to be honest with itself.  It needs to do its due diligence and re-evaluate what’s being taught in social studies and government classes on how this country actually runs.

Another thing I wish I knew more about is how people tick. I always assumed that most people follow a guideline on ethics, when having to deal with people. However, I’m learning that’s not the case. I am only recently learning that I can’t start off with giving people the benefit of doubt because bad people are just as common as good ones. I’ve run into narcissists, male chauvenists, womanizers and other guys who just fake being nice, like they’re wearing a skin suit, when in reality, they are just wired to harm women.

I feel like if I knew more preemptively about these kinds of parasitic people, then I wouldn’t have saw the signs early on, and not bothered with them.
