Another Terrible Weekend

Every weekend, my boyfriend drinks horribly. It’s bottle after bottle. Back to back of hard liquor. He claims it’s over stress but I know that’s not the real reason, it’s just addiction. He literally has nothing to be stressed about other than the self-inflicted problems he’s created for himself. He has no rent to pay. He has no bills other than his $45 phone bill. he has a nice paying job and he appears to blow a lot if not most of his checks on alcohol, cigarettes and weed. He claims he gets paid something like $900-$1200 a week, but so far, I’m not seeing that. I don’t ask him for money except for my storage which is about $500 a month, which he hasn’t been giving me these last couple months, so I don’t know where he spending his money. Even the amount of alcohol, cigarettes and weed I don’t think add up to that much, so I have no idea where all his money goes. And he gets nasty and vindictive when I would ask him for money for my storage, so I’ve stopped asking him completely. Unfortunately, I may have to start asking for a relative for it come next month because I don’t want to ask him for anything since he complains about money so much.

Personally, I suspect he’s giving money to his ex-girlfriend because he mentioned a couple times she asked, and she also keeps begging him for sex. Not that I care because I’m done with all the stupidity and just want my peace. He’s just too much to deal with. The alcohol addiction. The being mind-fucked by an ex that he can’t let go of. The mood swings. The aggressive outbursts. His delusions of grandeur. He says I’m “cold”, but I’m not. I’m just mentally so exhausted and done. If a extra baggage was a meme, his would be a fuckin Spirit airport.

Today I spent the day applying to city jobs. I’m just hoping I get one because I’m tired of looking and it’s the only way I’m going to get myself out of this.
