I went back to the dealership yesterday and asked about the remote key for the entry system; they said they called previous owner of the car to see if they had it. I don’t know why they didn’t just program me a new key rather than going through all that riggamarow. I guess they rather harass the previous owner rather than just spending a few bucks on a key.
I don’t expect the lady to have it so I just ordered me one off Ebay for $11.99. It does not come with instructions but I have seen them plastered all over the Internet so I just downloaded them from there. That kind of worries me though how easy it is to do that stuff.
Also the thing is I don’t even know if the car has a keyless entry system built into it. So if anyone knows how I can check if it has it or not, that would be great.
